The Iron Breaker III by Charger Water Treatment Products is a high-efficiency, chemical-free filtration system designed to remove iron and hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) from household water supplies. Utilizing a patented natural oxidation process, it stores a compressed air “bubble” within the media tank; as water passes through this air pocket, iron and H₂S are oxidized into particles that are then trapped by the catalytic filter media. The system automatically regenerates by backwashing to remove trapped particles and replenishing the air bubble, ensuring consistent performance without the need for harsh chemicals, air compressors, or external aerators. Capable of achieving household flow rates up to 21 gallons per minute, the Iron Breaker III effectively prevents iron staining, eliminates unpleasant odors, and protects plumbing fixtures and appliances from iron and H₂S-related damage. An optional ozone generator enhances the system by providing automatic sanitization during the regeneration process.
